"I hate the songs we got for this year"

So you hate the song your band director picked out well theres some things that you can do and then there are others that you shouldn't do> 1:DO NOT mess up the song on purpose just because you dont like it in ife there are thing that you're not going to want to do but you still have to do it especially if its a job that you get paid for. You got into band becausse of the enjoyment of playing music. Enjoy playing it and maybe you'll grow to like it. 2. Try and write your own arrangement of a song that you and the other band members will like. Get help from another director and figure out how to get the music together. 3.DO NOT argue with the band director over the music it willl make him/her angry (Maybe) 4. Get the members together to save money to get sheet music online but first you need to talk to your bad direco about the song you want make sure its a good song for the band to play. Those are basically for out the the 100 I had written down. Maybe try out some of the dos with your bandd and get more stand tune for the band to play.

Summer band is right around the corner again and its time for me to explain what might happen and what might change. This year is the year of the freshmen. The new band members are attacking! the seniors are gone and now you have the juniors to new seniors so enjoy band while you can. Just saying. This is maybe the year your band director changes your style of march, how you do a backwards march, the way you hold your instrument, any and evverything. Hes the band director its his choice when it comes to changes. Yu just need tto go with the flow. Summer band is the time that you have to meet your band members and get to know them. Ask question with the`freshman or even the upperclassmen. Talk to people you have never talk to in your life. What might happen (hopefully not) Maybe one the people aboe you are such acontrol freak that you just want to say something like they say not to listen to anyone or whatever just calm it down wait til rehearsal is over and talk to your band direcor about it. Fighting leads to nothing but more fighting people. Have fun at summer band! Hey class of 2016 its our last year lets make it fun.

Graduation

Well seniors this is it. High School is over and it's time for u to go off to bigger and better things. Meeting new friends and going different places. I know that you're going to miss your friends at the old school where memorys were made. And you're bandmates are on your side through everything you do in life. Your journey is just beginning and don't cry because you're going to miss high school or your friends because there's this thing called social media and visiting yeah it was'nt invented just cause use it. So I would like to dedicate this blog to not only just the seniors of the world but to the best bandmates i've ever had that have inspired me and taught me many things from Bay City High school. I thank all of you. Congrats Class of 2015.

When band relationships don't work out...

Well you just got out of your first band relationship congratulations! I know your heart is broken and you wish you could take it back, but you can't reverse time. It's time for you to move on not by finding a rebound or anything. To actually find yourself again. To say i didn't need him or her anyway. Now if in the middle of drama with him or her is still going on I wish you luck just know you have friends and family to get advice from. Just take a deep breath and ignore them. Go out with your friends to get your mind off him. Or like me do what you love to do. Now if he broke up with you saying we can still be friends it is possible but you won't be best of friends anymore it'll probably be simple words said like hi and nice to see you again basically the bullshit that most people avoid. Buthaving to see each other every fucking day I would at least try and spark a conversation and don't bring up your relationship no matter how good or bad it was DON'T BRING IT UP! I know it's sucks i've been in your situation and it's going to take awhile to get over. But these are just simple things you could do instead of planning murder yea I know what you were planning over there you sadistic bitch. Don't kill him or her or the person they left you for just kill them with kindness. I'm trying to make this a little funny because i'm crying just typing this up and I know it's ok to cry and I usually would delete this off of here but it's ok to cry to get the anger and the pain out intead of putting on a smile pretending that everything is fine when it's not. This basically goes for any type of relationship Shit like this happens all the time and you have to deal with it. You can get thorugh it I believe in you. Don't let anyone take your smile away.

Concert Season

IT'S CONCERT SEASON YAY! Marching season was fun but it's time to say goodbye to the marching uniform and hello to a formal dress or a formal dress shirt. Concert season is a time where you have little fun and chair order matters. Who's first chair they must be the best oh your last chair you suck. But really it shouldn't matter but it does. You see if you are a freshman and you beat the upperclassman that kicked everyones ass for years you are the best and the lord of that instrument. Now I know what your going to ask me how can I reach that level? Um practice...DUH! Is there dating during concert season? Not really if there is it's the couples that have been together for a while now and are going strong. Just remember you're still that same person from marching season just a little laid back. Concert season can be fun as long as you make it fun.
